CSC's Josh Youngkin interviews Casey Luskin about the Texas State Board of Education's current review of supplemental curriculum materials for use in science classes. Many of the materials submitted have not complied with the state's science standards which require students to "analyze, evaluate, and critique scientific explanations by using empirical evidence, logical reasoning, and experimental and observational testing, including examining all sides of scientific evidence of those scientific explanations, so as to encourage critical thinking by the student."
