On this episode of ID The Future we have an interview with ID proponent, Sam Chen, one of the developers and moderators of the new website overwhelmingevidence.com. According to the OE website: "Overwhelming Evidence is a site where high school students can network and communicate their views on intelligent design and evolution. ... This site is meant to encourage students to explore the facts, report the facts, and debate the facts."
Our guest Sam Chen is a student at the Honors College at Baylor University in Waco, Texas where he is double-majoring in philosophy and political science. He is the current director of the Intelligent Design Undergraduate Research Center (IDURC) and a student representative of the Access Research Network (ARN). Chen’s involvement in the intelligent design movement began when he hosted Dr. Michael J. Behe, professor of biological sciences at Lehigh University and author of the best-selling book Darwin’s Black Box: The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution at his high school in 2004. It was the intense negative reaction to the event that led him to join the intelligent design movement.
